Te Kura o Okiwi Haerenga

At the end of September 2017 the whole of Okiwi School went to Taupo for a skiing school trip. We spent three days skiing and after skiing every day we went to some hot pools. We stayed at Whaea Mairehau's Marae in Hatepe. We were right on the edge of Lake Taupo and a few of us went swimming in the freezing waters of the lake. We also visited the Trout Hatchery, where we all caught a Trout; and the powerful Huka Falls.
